I've always wanted to build a business, but I've never known exactly where to start. I know that Alex Hormozi has a complete method from start to finish. I want to follow his method. How can we get started? What are the steps?
Using Other People’s Processes and Skills
The right source material
Doing good work with agents is often about referring to the right source material. Why?
Agents already have “the whole internet” in their weights, but by default, they just use the most “average” part of it, so you get average outcomes. Instead, you want to prompt them to use the best parts of their weights!
Agents are really good at building on examples.
But how do I do that?
- Find good examples
Who does this work well already?
- Use precise language to describe what you want
The technical difference between “8-bit” and “pixel art” is substantial. The difference between “hand-drawn” and “vector graphics” is huge. The difference between hip-hop and jazz. The difference between an offer structure and a business plan. And so on!
By practicing using very precise terminology, you can get the AI to give you exactly what you want, which is kind of like “borrowing” an entire domain of human knowledge via the interface of language.
- Prompt with a positive attitude
Be straightforward, clear, and encouraging to your agent and it is shown to do better work for you, kind of like a human.
- Figure out what it is you actually want
The best “source material” is actually the stuff inside your head! By remixing the work that is unique in your life with the best work of experts, you can often make huge progress on your goals.
Practice Asking for Expertise
The point of these prompts is to show you that you can immediately enter a domain you’ve not worked in before and begin making substantial progress.
The Lesson: You can dive into entirely new domains with AI. You’re not going to be an expert right away, but you can remix the expertise and structure of the best people in the world. This works especially well for people you look up to, or people who have done what you want to do.
Can you explain everything that Corey Haines’ marketing skills can do for me, and how they’ve curated all of this expertise into a set of skills? What is a set of skills? What is a plugin? How does this work? Please read this repo and tell me! https://github.com/coreyhaines31/marketingskills I think it can help me optimize my SEO and AI-SEO using best practices, but what else can it do?
Corey Haines’ marketing skills ↗
The Lesson: You can use “skills” or “plugins” to install expert knowledge into your agent, which you can call or access at any time, and which your agent will always have access to.
Hey, can you make me a really nice uplifting and autumnal chiptune that mixes in elements of Bach's musical theory?
The Lesson: precise language like “Bach’s musical theory” and “chiptune” will seriously constrain the kind of output the AI will make.
I've always wanted to write a novel, but I've never known how to get started, it's so much work and not enough structure! That being said, I've read "save the cat! writes a novel" and I know they literally have a complete method which we can follow, step-by-step where I will have a guaranteed novel at the end. Can you help me work through that method, step-by-step? Or maybe any other extremely popular and structured novel-writing method? I basically want a structure that will guarantee completion if I follow it.
The Lesson: You can borrow very structured methods for doing creative work, and work through them with your agent, in order to do creative work you would maybe never have done before.

I've always wanted to create my own webapps, but I've always worried about doing it the wrong way or making too much slop. I'm interested in a really structured, expert approach to webapps that basically can't fail easily, because there is so much backing me up. I've heard there might be frameworks I can use that help with all of that. What are the best expert frameworks you would recommend I start with if I want to get into more advanced software engineering, and not just little tools? My instructor said I should go with Django, what else are good options, and why might Django be a good option for me?
I've never written songs before, but I want to get into songwriting. What is an incredibly structured songwriting framework which nevertheless produces good songs? I'm sure there are many of these created by course authors and influencers. I want the most tride-and-true, the one that is a bestselling book! Give me a few options with a recommendation
The Lesson: Sometimes you don’t even need to know what you want, you can kind of just assume something exists and look for it!
