Campus Access
During this class, and for 4 months after the program, you can access our campus at any time.
The campus is unlocked weekdays, 9-5pm. For after-hours access, ask an instructor for the door code in the private student Discord channel.
Office hours
We’ll host group office hours after class, every Saturday, 1 pm to 4 pm
All students are also welcome to book time with us 1:1 during weekdays, either on Google Meet or in-person at Fractal Campus

Class 1 Key Lessons
- Agents need memory of your goals and projects to help you. The simplest memory is well organized files on your computer.
- An automation is just a prompt that gets sent to an agent on a schedule.
- Codex can let an agent use any application on your computer, and interact with any website through your browser.
- Agents work better when they understand why your goal matters and what is blocking you.
- Ask your agent what it understood, then correct what it got wrong.
- You can ask your agent to interview you one question at a time when you don’t know what you want.
- You decide what gets built. Keep giving feedback until the approach makes sense and feels right.
- Start with the smallest version that can prove your solution works.
- Ask your agent to test its work and show you evidence.
- When you get stuck, explain what’s happening and ask your agent to help you take the next step.
- Save what you learned and what to do next so future agents can pick up where you left off.
Class 1 Setup
By the end of class one, you should have:
- Codex on your laptop, with at least one automation running, and computer-use setup.
- An personal-os folder, with a couple memory notes from your agent
- A GOALS.md in your personal-os folder, reflecting a goal or project you’re working towards completing
- A RETRO.md in your personal-os folder, reflecting your reflections on your design progress in class
- Grok Bot installed, and at least one message sent to Grok Bot
- Zo Computer installed, and at least one message sent to Zo
